Required gear for the 2013 racing season has been reduced from years past. We still recommend you bring equipment and clothing to race in any weather as this race will go on rain or shine.

Individual Required Gear (One per person on the team):

Hydration Pack
Head Lamp
Whistle
Lighter
Mountain Bike with a blinking rear red light. No road or cross bikes.
Helmet
Spare Bike Tube
Emergency Blanket
Waterproof Jacket

Team Required Gear (One per team):

Compass
Fully charged Cell Phone in a waterproof container.
First Aid Kit - Bandaids, cleaning stuff....you know what you need. Have one.
Bike tire pump or CO2. If CO2 ...enough for the entire team x2. This trail eats tires.

Optional Gear:

Teams may bring their own boats, paddles and PFD. They will be staged and not carried unless stated otherwise in the prerace meeting. Max 2 people in each boat. Solos must bring their own boat, paddle and PFD.

Forboden:

GPS, radios and inflatable dolls. Dolls do not count as people (made that rule just for Team Virtus).
